Willie Nelson Auditions for Gandalf in The Hobbit 2

Ian McKellen is the last actor one would consider replacing in the Hobbit films, but here is Willie Nelson auditioning as Gandalf for The Hobbit films in a video from Conan. Nelson alters some of Gandalf's famous lines.

Willie then says, "So that's it Peter. You can hire me and fire that Ian McKellen guy. He's a good actor, but hell I'm Willie Nelson."

Jackson was probably tempted but made the right casting decision in the end. Take a look:
