A cat named Schnitzel is one of the stars of A Quiet Place: Day One. Lupita Nyong'o can be seen running with the cat in the trailer for the horror sf prequel.

It turns out that this was not easy for Lupita because she was very afraid of cats before the filming. She didn't want anything to do with a cat. She says she got cat therapy to help her overcome her fears. Schnitzel can be seen sitting on a chair in this interview.
