Trailer for The Skeleton Twins Starring Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader
Posted on July 3, 2014
Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader play Maggie and Milo, twins who have been estranged for a decade. After a near tragedy reunites them in the same city, they connect again as siblings.Milo is a failed actor and Maggie is a dental hygienist married to Lance, played by Luke Wilson.
They were best friends growing up and even have matching skeleton tattoos. Now they must put their relationship back together and figure out where their lives go next. It's funny, it's moving and the buzz out of Sundance is excellent. And, of course, we get Kristen and Bill lip synching to Jefferson Starship's classic 80s hit, Nothing's Going to Stop Us Now. Hader is famous for his over the top gay character Stefon on Saturday Night Live, but this is not Stefon. Milo is a real person and Hader's acting is simply amazing.
Modern Family's Ty Burrell also stars in the film which was written and directed by Craig Johnson. Here's the trailer:
