Trailer for Mortdecai Starring Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow

Johnny Depp stars as the Honorable Charles Mordecai in the teaser trailer for Mortdecai. The film is based on the comedic British novels by Kyril Bonfiglioli.
Mortdecai is an aristocrat, an art dealer and a lover of all the finer things in life. Bonfiglioli first published the books in the 1970s and protested loudly that the novels were not based on his own life, although everyone thought they were. The books have a cult following to this day, being compared to P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster novels, if Bertie Wooster had no conscience at all.
The film is based on The Great Mortdecai Moustache Mystery which was published in 1999. Mortdecai sets out on a globe-trotting adventure to recover a stolen painting which is said to have a secret code to finding a cache of lost Nazi gold. He meets up with beautiful women and dangerous Russians along the way.
The cast is excellent. Ewan McGregor plays Inspector Martland and Gwyneth Paltrow is English again as Johanna. We really do think Gwyneth should just use an English accent in real life, it just works for her. Paul Bettany plays Jock Strapp, Mordecai's thuggish manservant. Olivia Munn, Jeff Goldblum and Oliver Platt co-star.
We are really looking forward to this film, which should hit American theaters in January, 2015. Take a look:
