Toni Collette stars as Ellie Klug, a journalist and rock critic who writes for Seattle rock magazine Stax. Ellie has major writer's block and is floundering after legendary musician Matthew Smith disappeared on her (and the rest of the world) ten years ago. Her editor, played by Oliver Platt, assigns her to find Smith and write an amazing story about him or get fired. So she sets out to find her lost love with the help of a rich dilettante (Thomas Haden Church) who has decided to become a documentary film maker. Watch for The Blacklist's Ryan Eggold who plays Lucas, an upcoming singer songwriter who wants Ellie to take a chance on love. He may seem sweet, but after watching him play Thomas Keen on the hit show, we keep waiting for him to bust out some martial arts or kill someone. The film is directed by Megan Griffiths. Take a look:
