Think Like a Man Too Wins Weekend Box Office

The comedy Think Like a Man Too, starring Kevin Hart and Michael Ealy, topped the box office this weekend. The $29 million opening kept the film just ahead of 22 Jump Street. 22 Jump Street made $27.5 million to bring its total gross to $109 million after just two weekends in theaters. This summer has been pretty good for comedies so far. Theaters had to battle the World Cup this weekend which has been gaining fans and interest in the U.S.
22 Jump Street was followed by How To Train Your Dragon 2, which made $24.7 million during its second weekend in theaters. Jersey Boys, a Clint Eastwood film about The Four Seasons, opened in fourth and made $13.3 million. Deadline reports that the film skewed older than expected.
Maleficent finished fifth and made $12.9 million. The Disney film has now made $185 million after four weeks. Maleficent was followed by Edge of Tomorrow, which made $9.8 million, and The Fault in Our Stars, which made $8.5 million. X-Men: Days of Future Past, Godzilla and Chef completed the top ten.
