Trailer for the Tempest Starring Helen Mirren, Russell Brand and Djimon Honsou

The film, based on Shakespeare's last play, stars Helen Mirren as Prospera (in the original play Prospero is a man) the sorceress who rules over a magical island and its shipwrecked captives. They battle for control of the island -- sound familiar, Lost fans?

There is action, drama, violence and -- of course -- comic relief. The film also stars Russell Brand, Chris Cooper, Alan Cumming, Djimon Honsou, Felicity Jones, Alfred Molina, David Strathairn and Ben Whishaw. It looks fantastic just from the trailer. Helen Mirren is clearly in her element, as she tackles the role with relish, and Russell Brand appears to be quite funny. Take a look:
