The Other Woman Wins Weekend Box Office

The Other Woman won the box office this weekend. The comedy stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones). The film made $24.7 million. This put an end to Captain America's winning streak at three. Captain America: The Winter Soldier added $16 million during its fourth weekend in theaters to bring its total domestic gross to about $225 million.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier was followed by Heaven is for Real, which made $13.8 million and Rio 2, which made $13.7 million. Brick Mansion, a futuristic thriller set in Detroit, opened in fifth place and made $9.6 million. The film stars Paul Walker, David Bella and RZA.

Brick Mansions was followed by Transcendence, starring Johnny Depp, which made just $4.1 million during its second weekend in theaters. Transcendence was followed by the horror movie The Quiet Ones, which had a weak debut and made just $4 million in over 2,000 theaters.

The Quiet Ones was followed by Bears, Divergent, A Haunted House 2 and God's Not Dead. Frozen has finally edged its way over the $400 million mark becoming the third film released in 2013 to make over $400 million. The other two films are The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Iron Man 3.
