The Help Wins Box Office for Third Consecutive Weekend

The Help won the Labor Day weekend box office. This was the third consecutive weekend at number one for the film based on the Katheryn Stockett novel. The Help fought off opening weekends from The Debt, Apollo 18 and Shark Night 3D, which finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
The Help made another $14.2 million to bring its box office total to $118 million. Not one of the three opening films managed to reach the $10 million mark. You can see the complete box office report for the weekend here.
