Full Trailer for Steven Spielberg's The BFG Takes us to Dream Country

The first full trailer for Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic children's book, The BFG, has been released by Disney. The film tells the story of a girl who is carried away to the land of the giants by a giant who hears her lonely heart in the deep of the night.
The giant, or Big Friendly Giant, is an outcast among the giants due to his refusal to dine on little boys and girls. Two of the big giants, Bloodbottler (Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jemaine Clement), are much meaner than the BFG, who is small for a giant. He knows the rest of the giants need to be stopped from their evil ways so he enlists the help of the ten year old girl Sophie.
Sophie soon attracts the attention of the other giants, which is quite dangerous for her. So she and the BFG set off for London to see Queen Victoria to update her about the brewing giant violence.
Many filmmakers have had trouble adapting Dahl's work to film. The author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory had his own unique view of the world which doesn't always translate well to film. After all, the film begins with a child kidnapping. If anyone can make this very odd story work on film, it would be Spielberg. Take a look:
