SNL Movie Trailer: The Beygency Starring Andrew Garfield, Taran Killam and Kiefer Sutherland
Posted on May 4, 2014
Last night had one of the most hilarious SNL video shorts we've seen. Andrew Garfield stars in a faux movie trailer for the thriller The Beygency. Andrew stars as a man who "had a normal life until one day he turned against his country... and its Queen." While chatting with friends who were talking about the new Beyonce album, he chimed in, "She's great, but I'm not a huge fan of the "Drunk in Love" song, though."
With that one blasphemous utterance, he became a fugitive with no identity, no friends and no family. An Adjustment Bureau style squad of agents who work for The Beygency is tasked to bring him down, and they are ruthless. Andrew is flawless as the hunted hero who meets other fugitives -- 24: Live Another Day stars Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub. In character as Jack Bauer, Kiefer explains he's just another guy who made a mistake and pulls back his collar to show a tattoo of Rihanna saying she's #1. Can he escape the Beyengcy? Not with those "Single Ladies" moves they bust out in a climactic scene. Take a look:
