Texas Chainsaw 3D Wins Weekend Box Office

Texas Chainsaw 3D won the box office this weekend. The horror film stars Alexandra Daddario, Dan Yeager, Tania Raymonde, Scott Eastwood and Trey Songz. The film won despite bad reviews from critics.

The film made $23 million, which put it $3 million ahead of Django Unchained, which made another $20 million during its second weekend in theaters. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which dominated the box office for three consecutive weekends, slipped to third. The Hobbit added $17.5 million to bring its domestic box office total to $263.8 million.

The Hobbit was followed by Les Miserables, Parental Guidance, Jack Racher and This is 40. You can see the complete box office report here.
