Teaser Trailer for The Guest Starring Dan Stevens

Here is the first teaser trailer for The Guest starring Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey). Stevens plays David, a soldier home from the war who shows up at the Peterson family home. He says he was a friend of their son, who didn't make it back. David tells the family he promised their son to look in on them and they welcome him into their home.

We're sure that the rash of violence and murder that starts when David arrives is just a coincidence. He is just so polite and very nice looking. The team that brought us the horror thriller film You're Next, Simon Barret and director Adam Wingard, look to be in fine form for this creepy tale. The film also stars Maika Monroe, Brendan Meyer, Lance Reddick (Fringe), and Joel David Moore. We loved Dan's portrayal of Matthew Crawley on Downton Abbey, although he broke our hearts when he left the show. He's still apologizing to fans for his departure. But it looks like he knew what he was doing and he nails the American accent. Take a look:
