Taylor Momsen's Tip Jar Heels

Taylor Momsen is relentless lately with her shocking fashion quotes. First it was the "I dress like a high class hooker" statement. Now she talks about her favorite platform shoes. They are lucite stripper heels, with a slot so fans can put dollar bills in them. In an especially elegant touch, the word "Tips" glows in the dark.

Taylor told Interview magazine that she bought the shoes because they are tall. She says, "I bought them because they were tall. Seriously."

Taylor added, "... because I like to wear platform heels onstage and they're actually hard to find. But fans started putting money in them -- so now they are filled with tons of bills. It's pretty amazing."

The heels are seven inches tall and retail for about $60. Not that we're suggesting you buy them, of course. Mostly, we just can't wrap our head around the concept of wearing 8" high lucite platform heels. This is Shauna Sand territory and no one wants to go there. Well, except for Taylor Momsen.

Taylor has some very high heels in the music video for "25" but they are thankfully just regular shoes. And her red dress is very pretty.
