Taylor Kitsch Talks John Carter Fight Scenes

Taylor Kitsch stars as John Carter in the film based on the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film is directed by Andrew Stanton and co-stars Lynn Collins and Willem Dafoe.

Kitsch talked about what he had to do to get ready for the fight scenes. He says the diet is the most boring thing you can imagine. He said training began at 4:30 in the morning. Kitsch says sometimes you are fighting air with the background and creatures added in later, so getting the emotion right is important. The creatures look like giant gorilla monsters with an extra pair of arms. The film arrives in theaters on March 9. The scenery and characters look amazing. Take a look:
