Milla Jovovich is on the Run From Pierce Brosnan in Survivor Trailer

We're so used to Pierce Brosnan playing the good guy that it's a bit of a shock when he plays the villain. In the first trailer for Survivor Brosnan plays a professional assassin known as the Watchmaker. In London he frames State Department officer Kate Abbott (Milla Jovovich) for a terrorist bombing, but Abbott proves to be difficult to kill.

Abbott was just posted to the U.S.Embassy in London when her life goes into a tailspin. She escapes the bombing and goes on the run to clear her name. This is made difficult by the fact that everyone at her agency now thinks she's a terrorist. Her job is to prevent terrorists from getting into the U.S. and while on the run she discovers an incipient terror plot that she must stop.

Angela Bassett plays the American president. James D'Arcy, Robert Forster, Emma Thompson and Dylan McDermott co-star in the spy thriller. Dylan McDermott has played a bad guy pretending to be a good guy in so many projects, somehow we don't believe him when he appears to be helping Milla's character in the trailer. Let's hope that this time he really is who he says he is.

As for Milla, any fan of the Resident Evil movies knows that she is simply amazing in action films. But she can also act, as well. From the alien Leeloo in The Fifth Element to Joan of Arc in The Messenger, Milla is always convincing.
