Stranger Things Kids Get Silly With Jimmy Fallon

Posted on September 1, 2016

If you haven't yet binge watched Stranger Things on Netflix, you really are missing something amazing. The Netflix original SF show is set in a small town in the 1980s. One young boy goes missing and one young girl with a shaved head shows up, having escaped from a very creepy government laboratory. The missing child's mother is played by Winona Ryder, who turns the town upside down to find out what happened to her boy.

The show has quickly gathered a major following with its mix of Spielbergian kids, 80s kitsch and science fiction. Netflix just announced the show has been renewed for season 2, and we couldn't be happier. To celebrate, the young stars of the show -- Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard -- joined Jimmy Fallon for a game of silly string. They each read out a secret fact about one of them that was true and they sprayed Silly String on who they thought wrote that fact about themselves.

The kids are all really likable and very funny. Netflix has sent them off to promote the show and they are doing a fantastic job. The girl who plays Eleven, Millie Bobby Brown, is British, which we did not realize while watching the show. She is so poised and very smart. She also has a hidden talent: she busted out a Nicki Minaj rap with the help of the Roots. We are quite impressed.

Jimmy is great with kids -- it's a hilarious segment. The best line of the video: watch Finn Wolfhard throw Jimmy's shade ("Can you read??") right back at him with a snappy, "Can you host?" Take a look:
