Stephen Colbert Says Goodbye to Jon Stewart and Comedy Central

Now that Stephen Colbert is leaving his show and his old persona behind to take over for David Letterman, it's time for Stephen to say goodbye to Comedy Central. He made a surprise appearance on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, which launched him into his own show on the network. Stephen (in character as the pompous talking head he plays on his show) told Jon, "There is no mountain left to climb. It’s become clear to me that I’ve won television. At this point I’m just running up the score...Almost nine years ago I promised to change the world and together -- I did it." He was hoping for a tasteful montage of his greatest moments like the one Jon did for John Oliver (who is getting his own show on HBO), but Jon didn't have one ready. No problem -- Colbert brought his own. Take a look:
