Seth Rogen and Kristen Wiig Are Sentient Food Items in Sausage Party Trailer

And now for something completely different: the Sausage Party trailer. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg created the story of a supermarket which is full of sentient food. All the food items want to be chosen by a shopper of their very own so they can go to the wonderful afterlife that exists in the land of the Gods. When a sausage named Frank (Seth Rogen) and his beloved bun Brenda (Kristen Wiig) are chosen and put in a shopper's cart they are ecstatic.

But when they arrive at her home the horrors begin. She peels the potato -- while he's still alive screaming (only somehow humans can't seem to hear this). Then two baby carrots nearly roll off the counter and she eats them whole, while the rest of the food screams and cowers in horror that she is eating children.

Frank is determined to escape to warn all the other food in the store, but will anyone believe his horrific tale? Because in this universe, even the vegans are murderers. The language is very profane and very, very funny.

The film also stars the voices of Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Bill Hader, and David Krumholtz. Take a look:
