Rupert Friend and Zachary Quinto Square Off in Hitman Agent 47 Trailer

Rupert Friend (Pride and Prejudice, Homeland) and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, American Horror Story) star in the trailer for Hitman: Agent 47. Friend plays a genetically engineered elite assassin who is known as Agent 47. He has a barcode on the back of his neck which was placed there when he was created. He has superior intelligence, strength, speed and skills and is supposed to be carrying out his missions without question.
But Agent 47 has his own ideas about his life and his mission. He is determined to stop a giant corporation which wants to clone an army of superior agents just like him. He rescues a young woman named Katia van Dees (Hannah Ware) who is being hunted by the corporation for her DNA. Quinto plays John Smith, who works for the corporation.
The trailer opens with an amazing scene in which Agent 47 escapes from custody in a way that is inventive and unique. He pretty much leaves a trail of bodies wherever he goes. But he is determined to help Katia find her father and the secret of her origin.
The film also stars Ciaran Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, Emilio Rivera and Mona Pirzad. The film was directed by Aleksander Bach The screenplay was written by Skip Woods (Hitman, X-Men origins: Wolverine) and Michael Finch (Predators). Based on the popular videogame, the film hits theaters on August 21, 2015. Take a look:
