Posted on January 26, 2014

Ride Along topped the box office for the second consecutive weekend. The film made another $21.1 million to bring its total gross to $75 million. Ride Along was followed by Lone Survivor, The Nut Job and Frozen. Frozen's staying power in theaters could push it past Despicable Me 2 to take the third spot from Despicable Me 2 on the 2013 Domestic Grosses Chart.

Frozen was followed by Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit which made $8.8 million during its 2nd weekend in theaters. I, Frankenstein, a Lionsgate film starring Aaron Eckhart, did not have a good opening weekend. It only made $8.2 million. The film did find an audience in Russia where Deadline reports it made $6.4 million.

I, Frankstein was followed by American Hustle, August: Osage County, The Wolf of Wall Street and Devil's Due. You can see the complete box office report here.
