Now here's an interesting trailer. In 2008 director David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle) directed a comedy called Nailed. He ended up leaving the project over a dispute with the financier of the film. Now the offbeat comedy, which stars Jake Gyllenhall and Jessica Biel, is finally being released with a new name: Accidental Love.

Jessica Biel plays Alice Eckle, a waitress who gets accidentally shot in the head with a nail gun. The hospital was all set to fix the problem, until they found out she didn't have insurance. Now she's walking around with a nail in her head and is subject to wild mood swings. Her fiance (James Marsden) dumps her and her life gets more difficult. So she heads to Washington, D.C. to see if she can get some help for the uninsured. The film is based on the book Sammy's Hill by Al and Tipper Gore's daughter, Kristin Gore.

She meets Howard Birdwell, a Congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal) who tries to get her some help. The film also stars Paul Reubens, Catherine Keener, Kirstie Alley, James Brolin, Tracy Morgan and Kurt Fuller.

Russell has stated publicly that it's not really his film, but he did direct it. And from all accounts, he'd rather the film never saw the light of day. But despite his efforts, it will be seen. Here is the trailer:
