Paranormal Activity 4 Wins Weekend Box Office
Posted on October 22, 2012
The Paranormal Activity 4 horror film won the box office this weekend with a $29 million take. Box Office Mojo reports that this was the worst opening for the horror franchise. However, it won't be the last as Paramount will still make plenty of profit from the low budget film. The other film to open this weekend, Alex Cross, starring Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox, had a weak $11.3 million opening.
Argo had a strong second week in theaters and made another $16 million. Argo was followed by Taken 2 and Hotel Transylvania, which have both crossed the $100 million mark in total gross. You can see the complete box office report here.
