Oscars Producers Talk Live Performances by Adele, Barbra Streisand and Host Seth MacFarlane

Oscars producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan discuss their vision for the 85th Academy Awards, which will be held this Sunday and shown on ABC. There will be a James Bond retrospective to honor Bond's 50th year and Shirley Bassey will sing the theme from Goldfinger.
The producers wanted lots of good performances and explained how they got Barbra Streisand and Adele to perform. They say that audiences may be surprised at how good a singer Seth MacFarlane is, that he has performed many times with orchestras and has an album out. We saw Seth host Saturday Night Live and do a fabulous job, so we have no doubt he's up to the task. Take a look:
