One Direction and The Butler Top Labor Day Weekend Box Office

One Direction and The Butler topped the Labor Day weekend box office. One Direction's movie, One Direction: This is Us, won the weekend with a $15.7 million take, while Lee Daniels' The Butler won the four day weekend with a $20 million take. We're the Millers finished third and made $12.7 over the weekend to bring its total gross over the $100 million mark to $109 million after four weekends in theaters.
Instructions Not Included, an indie starring Eugenio Derbez, opened in fourth and made $7.8 million with an impressive $22,594 per theater average.
