Miss USA Olivia Culpo Crowned Miss Universe 2012

Miss USA Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe. Olivia was crowned Miss USA 2012 earlier this year. The last time Miss USA won the Miss Universe title was in 1997. The event was broadcast live on NBC.

Olivia, 20, grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island. She comes from a family of musicians. Olivia is a cellist and her siblings each play a different instrument. Miss Universe Philippines, Janine Tugonon, was the runner-up this year. Take a look:
