Non-Stop Wins Weekend Box Office

Non-Stop won the weekend box office. The thriller starring Liam Neeson made $28.9 million and ended The Lego Movie's winning streak at three. It averaged $9,345 per theater. Non-Stop was followed closely by Son of God, which made $25.6 million.
The Lego Movie remained strong during its fourth weekend in theaters. It made another $20 million to bring its domestic box office gross to $209 million. The Lego Movie was followed by 3 Days to Kill, The Monuments Men, RoboCop (2014) and Pompeii.
Frozen finished eighth and added $3.6 million to bring its domestic gross to over $388 million, just over $11 million shy of the $400 million mark. It could join The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Iron Man 3 in the $400 million category for 2013. You can find the complete box office report here.
