Next James Bond Film on Hold

Bad news for James Bond fans. Variety reports that EON Prods. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced Monday that they have put plans for the next James Bond movie on hold. MGM's financial problems are to blame for the indefinite suspension of the film.
"Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on 'Bond 23' indefinitely," the duo said in a statement. "We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of 'Bond 23.'"The film had originally been scheduled for a 2011 or 2012 release. It is a real shame and it seems pointless because the film would make money. James Bond films are always popular. Take a look:
