NBC Picks Up New J.J. Abrams Spy Dramedy

Variety reports that NBC has picked up a new J.J. Abrams series called Undercovers. The tv series is described as spy dramedy. Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw will star as married ex-spies who are re-activated.

Jeff Gaspin, chairman of NBC Universal Television Entertainment, says, "We have tremendous confidence in this promising series and feel this is a great way to kick off our upcoming Upfront development announcement. J.J. has delivered another signature series along with our partners at Warner Bros and we couldn't be happier."
