Michel Hazanavicius Wins Best Director at 2012 Oscars

French writer and director Michel Hazanavicius won Best Director at the 2012 Oscars for The Artist. The Artist also won Best Picture.
Hazanavicius initially said he forgot his speech. He then said, "I am the happiest director in the world right now." Hazanavicius then thanked everyone he possibly could involved in the film, including Uggie. Take a look:
