Michael Fassbender to Star in Film Based on Assassin's Creed Video Games

Michael Fassbender has signed on to star in a film adaptation of the popular Assassin's Creed video games, which have sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
Players play an elite Assassin in the popular games, which include a time travel element. Ubisoft's Jean-Julien Baronnet says Fassbender was their first choice. This is no surprise as Fassbender was terrific as the android David in Prometheus and as Magneto in X-Men: First Class.
