Matt Reeves to Direct Film Based on Justin Cronin's The Passage

Deadline reports that Cloverfield director Matt Reeves has signed on to direct Justin Cronin's epic vampire thriller, The Passage. The book is the first in a trilogy. John Logan is one of the screenwriters attached to the script.
Maybe they can convince Jenna Bush to play herself. She is the governor of Texas is the book's future world. It is a post-apocalyptic series with vampires.
