Lindsay Tells Oprah She's No Party Girl
Posted on November 8, 2006
Lindsay Lohan appears on The Oprah Winfrey Show today to promote her new movie, Bobby. Emilio Estevez, the director, also appears. Linsday talks about the movie, her goals and her party girl reputation.
Lindsay told Oprah, "I'm 20 years old. Is it a crime to go dancing with your friends? It's not. I have a life and I have my family and I have work and I have those three things."
Emilio told Oprah that Lindsay was always on time. He blamed the media for obsessing on the negative. He says, "The media likes to focus on [the negative] because it sells. And the fact of the matter is I'd rather have them focus on how extraordinary she is in this film and how dedicated and how passionate she is in this role. You see a young actress mature on film and you see her do, I think, the best work of her life."
A lot of girls do dance with their friends at ago 20, but the rumors are that Lindsay is doing more than just dancing. The film Bobby will arrive in theaters on November 23rd.
