Kate Beckinsale to Return for Fourth Underworld Film

Deadline.com reports that Kate Beckinsale will be back for a fourth Underworld film. Deadline says John Hlavin wrote the original screenplay for the fourth movie, but J. Michael Straczynski is going to be rewriting it.

Screen Gems, which distributed the first three films, will also distribute the fourth movie. Deadline.com says production starts in March. A release date is not yet known. Kate Beckinsale is pictured above in a scene from Underworld: Evolution. Actress Rhona Mitra played Sonja in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, the third film in the series.
