Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez, Bora Bora Photos
Posted on November 9, 2015
Justin Bieber was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and had a very candid discussion with Ellen about ex girlfriend Selena Gomez and those embarrassing paparazzi shots taken of him sans clothing in Bora Bora.
Ellen dove right in with the questions. First she wanted to know why Justin didn't see the photographer. Justin said he really didn't see him -- he must have been on a boat given the angle of the racy photos. About two days later his manager Scooter Braun called him with the news. Justin said, , "The first thing I saw was like the censored one and it had like the black thing over it. And I am like, 'Oh my goodness.'". Ellen said that she is no expert on the subject but that she understands the photos weren't so bad. Justin said he thought, "I don’t know what this is gonna look like, and then it wasn’t like as bad as I thought it was gonna be. It wasn’t as terrible."
Ellen grilled about him about the girl he was skinny dipping with: model Jayde Pierce. Justin insists she is just a friend and says he is single. Ellen was skeptical pointing out that she has lots of friends but they all wear clothes and don't take her to Bora Bora.
The conversation also turned to Selena Gomez. Ellen wanted to know if they would ever get back together. Justin said, "Maybe...I mean, we have a lot of history together so maybe, it possibly could happen but I think we're both just on our own journeys of just figuring ourselves out and I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come together and make an awesome duo." He then noted that if they don't get back together he hopes, 'Or she'll find someone awesome and I'll find someone awesome. 'I just want her to be happy, honestly.'
Justin revealed that three of the songs on his new album were inspired by Selena: "What Do You Mean?," "Mark My Words" and "Sorry." Take a look:
