MTV Might Bring Back Punk'd With Justin Bieber as Host

Vulture reports MTV is planning to bring back Punk'd. Ashton Kutcher was the host of the MTV show that played practical jokes on celebrities.

Justin Bieber is reportedly closed to signing on to be the host of the new Punk'd. Vulture says Ashton Kutcher will remain on as executive producer of the new series via his Katalyst Entertainment.

We aren't sure this is a show that need a revival. Celebrities do a good job of punking themselves in the Internet era now that there are cameras on them all the time. Vulture is already warning "Bristol Palin, Jon Hamm, Snooki, and the entire cast of Glee" to watch out or they might get Bieber'ed.

Update: Justin Bieber did indeed end up punking some celebrities for Punk'd. MTV reports that Taylor Swift was punked into thinkin gshe had helped set a boat on fire.

Bieber also went after Miley Cyrus. Here's a clip of Bieber punking Miley. Bieber seems to like punking people but it would more fun to see Bieber getting punked constantly. Leave Miley and Taylor alone.
