Jude Law and Jimmy Fallon Play Pool Bowling

Posted on June 4, 2015

Jude Law was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new comedy thriller Spy, which co-stars Jason Statham and Melissa McCarthy. Jude agreed to play a game of Pool Bowling with Jimmy.

Both player stand on a giant pool table with pool balls that are actually bowling balls. The table is so huge it makes Jimmy and Jude look doll-sized. With a couple of beers to loosen them up they started to play. The game is just like pool, but you don't use a stick. Instead you use the cue ball as a bowling ball. Jimmy bowls like a regular person, but Jude decided not to use the holes in the bowling ball. He just leaned down and rolled the cue ball like a kid.

The game was really entertaining to watch. By the time they were on their third beers their playing skills had deteriorated quite a bit. Jimmy scratched and had to crawl across the table to find out where the cue ball goes. He decided it went downstairs and ended up on Seth Meyers' desk. He did get the cue ball back and the game went on.

Jude is pretty laid back and went along with Jimmy's insane game ideas. But he is a terrible bowler, which he seemed to realize halfway through. But hey, he's a great actor and looks like a lot of fun to hang out with. This more than makes up for his lack of bowling skills, not that Jimmy did much better. Take a look:
