Trailer for BBC's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell is coming to BBC America. The seven part miniseries is based on Susanna Clarke's bestselling novel. In 1806 England, the country is weary of the war with Napoleon Bonaparte. It has been centuries since anyone practiced magic and most people don't believe it exists.
But one day a magician named Mr. Norrell appears who has a powerful magic at his control. He helps with the war effort against the French and and raises a woman from the dead (with terrible results that are only known later.) Mr. Norrell is rigid, precise and scholarly. He is soon challenged by another powerful young magician named Jonathan Strange.
Strange is handsome and deobonair and cares nothing for rules. Needless to say, the two do not get along and their rivalry has powerful repercussions for them, those they know and for England. The series stars Bertie Carvel as Jonathan Strange and Eddie Marsan as Mr. Norrell. Charlotte Riley, Alice Englert, Samuel West, Enzo Cilenti, Marc Warren and Edward Hogg co-star in the production. The CGI looks amazing; they went all out on the budget for this one.
The miniseries debuts on June 13th and we can't wait to see it. The trailer is fantastic. Take a look:
