Johnny Depp Returns as the Mad Hatter in Alice Through the Looking Glass

Tim Burton's 2010 film Alice in Wonderland starring Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp made more than one billion dollars at the world wide box office, so naturally a sequel was in the cards. The first teaser trailer for the sequel, Alice Through the Looking Glass has dropped.
Mia Wasikowska returns as an older Alice who must return to Underland. Last time out she saved the world from the Jabberwocky, but things have once again gone to the dogs. In fact, Time is literally running out for the creatures of Underland. Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) is a half clock - half human who has locked up the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Now it's up to Alice to save her good friend before it's too late.
The original cast returned for the sequel: Helena Bonham Carter is the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway is the White Queen, Alan Rickman is the voice of the Caterpillar, Michael Sheen voices the White Rabbit, Stephen Fry is the Cheshire Cat and Matt Lucas is the voice of Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
Tim Burton is executive producer to the film which was directed by James Bobin (The Muppets, Muppets Most Wanted). Linda Woolverton (Maleficent, Alice in Wonderland) wrote the screenplay. Alice Through the Looking Glass hits theaterse on May 27, 2016. Take a look:
