Jaws 19 Trailer from Universal Pictures
Posted on October 8, 2015
Universal Pictures released a trailer for Jaws 19. The faux trailer celebrates the Back to the Future 30th anniversary trilogy, which will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on October 20th.
The entertaining faux trailer looks back on all the Jaws movies that have come before Jaws 19. There have actually been only four official Jaws movies for those keeping track.
Universal Pictures explains what has happened in Jaws movies 5 through 18 in the trailer. Some highlights include Jaws 11, which took place in outer space and Jaws 15, which featured a Russian shark named Ivan Sharkovsky. Jaws also learned about love in Jaws 17: Fifty Scales of Grey.
Jaws 19 takes a climate change theme. The sharks have to attack to save their home because the oceans are vanishing. The tagline is "This time it's really, really personal."
This faux trailer makes us feel like more Jaws movies are actually needed. We know fans of cheesy horror movies would watch all the movies from Jaws 5 to Jaws 19 if they were real. Take a look:
