The first international trailer for Natalie Portman's upcoming Western, Jane Got a Gun, is out. Natalie plays Jane Hammond a wife who is forced to learn how to defend herself when a band of outlaws comes after her husband and child.

Noah Emmerich plays Bill Hammond, Jane's husband who is injured and cannot help much with his family's defense. He's been shot multiple times by the vicious Bishop Boys gang and is barely alive. Jane is forced to turn to her former fiance Dan Frost (Joel Edgerton) for help in order to save her child. Frost is not impressed with Jane's husband, but reluctantly agrees to help her.

Ewan McGregor is the evil leader of the Bishop Boys. Rodrigo Santoro, Boyd Holbrook, Alex Manette and James Burnett co-star in the flm which was directed by Gavin O'Connor (Warrior, Pride and Glory) from a screenplay by Brian Duffield.

The film is set for release on February 16, 2015. The film has had it share of woes getting to theaters with a major lawsuit and a last minute change of directors slowing things down. Lynne Ramsay was set to direct Michael Fassbender as the male lead in the film, but Fassbender didn't get along with Ramsay and left the project. Then Ramsay left and O'Connor stepped in.
