First Hellcats Trailer Starring Ashley Tisdale and Aly Mischalka

Ashley Tisdale and Aly Mischalka star in Hellcats, a CW college cheerleader comedy drama. The show is based on a book called Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders and was billed as Election meets Bring it On!.

The plot is centered around Marti Perkins (Mischalka) who has a scholarship to get her through Lancer University and into law school. But when she gets to school she finds her scholarship has been canceled. She soon finds herself fighting for a spot on the Hellcats cheerleading squad which could also get her a scholarship. She befriends cheerleader Savannah Monroe (Tisdale) after the two get off to a somewhat rocky start. The Hellcats coach is played by Sharon Leal. Other stars include Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr and Gail O'Grady.
