NBC Renews Grimm for Second Season
Posted on March 16, 2012
Deadline reports that NBC has renewed Grimm for a second season. Season two will have 22 episodes.
In the series, Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms," charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. Burkhardt loses his Aunt, who was also a Grimm, but she left him a trailer full of relics, weapons and information about the mythological creatures.
Burkhardt also befriends a Wieder Blutbad named Monroe, who sometimes helps him solve cases. We are loving this show. The last two episodes of Grimm, "Three Coins in a Fuchsbau" and "Plumed Serpent," have been terrific.
