Gary Ross Talks The Hunger Games at L.A. Premiere

The Hunger Games director Gary Ross talked about the highly anticipated film at the red carpet premiere in Los Angeles. Gary Ross says the film is "intense," but not super gory.
He says, "To do justice to what Suzanne wrote, there is a certain amount of specificity required in this and it has to be as intense an experience as when you read it. But we're not gory, it's not gratuitous, it doesn't become indulgent in the violence in any way."
Ross says he has never enjoyed making a movie more in his life. Ross would not pick between Team Peeta and Team Gale. He says he's Team Katniss. Take a look:
