Ellen DeGeneres is Dory in Finding Dory Teaser Trailer

It's been twelve long years since the film Finding Nemo won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. But finally Disney Pixar has released the trailer for the sequel, Finding Dory which stars Ellen DeGeneres as the voice of Dory, the memory-challenged Pacific Regal Blue Tang fish.

The fish are all agog at the fact that Dory has finally remembered something very important. She's also been sleep swimming, which has Marlin and Nemo, the angelfish who starred in the first film, quite concerned. Dory remembers something about having a family. She just knows she has to go find them.

The trailer opens with all the fish sleeping happily, except for Dory who is talking in her sleep, telling her mother not to cry. She starts sleep swimming in the middle of the night until Marlin brings her back. Dory set out on the adventure of the lifetime to find her family. Also, there's something about a clam. Or an oyster. Or maybe a mollusk. We're sure it will all work out in the end.

The film was written and directed by Andrew Stanton, who also wrote the first movie. The film also stars the voices of Diane Keaton as Dory's mom Jenny, Eugene Levy as Dory's dad Charlie and Ty Burrell as Bailey. Idris Elba, Dominic West, Ed O'Neill and Kaitlin Olson also star. The film is set for release on June 17, 2016. Here is the trailer:
