The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Absolutely stunning third film in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Director Peter Jackson has brought J.R.R. Tolkien's books to life with a vision and a depth of understanding that is laudable. The acting, cinematography and special effects are first rate. Peter Jackson deserves the Best Director Oscar for his amazing achievement, the film deserves the Best Picture Oscar and Ian McKellan should be honored by the Academy for his brilliant performance as Gandalf.
