Ferrell's Semi-Pro Not a Critic Favorite

AP Movie Critic Christy Lemire says 'Semi-Pro' "follows a now familiar formula: Cast Will Ferrell, pick a sport to mock, and watch the laughs pile up." Lemire says there are laughs but that you've seen these characters before. That may not be such a bad thing because the characters are very funny characters. Many other critics were unhappy with the film but the many spoofs of the 70s look hilarious. Will Ferrell and Jon Heder managed to make Blades of Glory hilarious despite a very simple concept. Christy Lemire also reveals that the 'fro Ferrell has in Semi-Pro is all Ferell's real hair.
