Jimmy Fallon Shaves Jared Leto's Beard

Jared Leto was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and it was quite entertaining. Jared has been growing his beard since he won an Oscar for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club and it's looking pretty bushy.

As they were talking about his beard and his resemblance to Jesus, Jared joked that he had been getting requests to do a lot of resurrections lately and maybe it was time for a change. Jimmy said that his advice would be to take that beard down a notch. Jimmy whipped out hair clippers and a cape and asked if he could trim Jared's beard. We don't think this was planned, because Jared looked really shocked. But he went along with it.

Jimmy seemed to know exactly what he was doing and trimmed up the beard so it wasn't so scruffy-looking. The audience loved it and was yelling during the impromptu barbering session. Jared had quite the time on the show. He did a comedy bit with Jimmy earlier in which they meditated and thought crazy thoughts and he also performed with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars. Jared is currently promoting his band's Grand Palais concert film which featured the band's latest single "Do or Die." The single is already in the top 10 on Billboard's Trending 140. The group's new album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams is available now on iTunes.
