Evil Dead Wins Weekend Box Office

The Evil Dead reboot won the box office this weekend. Suburgatory star Jane Levy is pictured holding a chainsaw in a still from the film. Reading from The Book of the Dead is never a good idea.
The horror film made $25.8 million during its weekend debut. Evil Dead was followed by G.I. Joe: Retaliation and The Croods. The Croods has now made a total of $125 million after its third weekend in theaters.
Jurassic Park returned to theaters in 3D form. It finished fourth and made an impressive $18.6 million. Jurassic Park 3D was followed by Olympus Has Fallen, Tyler Parry's Temptation, Oz The Great and Powerful and The Host. You can see the complete box office report here.
