Evangeline Lilly Talks About Filming The Hobbit

Evangeline Lilly talked to Access Hollywood about filming The Hobbit. Evangeline plays Tauriel, a Silvan Elf of Mirkwood, in the film. Evangeline says she has lots of coaches, including a dialect coach, motion coach, language coach and a stunts coach. She says she speaks both RP English and Elvish in the film. Evangeline says if she f***s it up, it is all her fault. She says fans will either love Tauriel or absolutely despise her because she is not authentic. The character was created for the movie. Evangeline says she believes the character is true to Tolkien's world. Take a look:
Evangeline was also interviewed by HitFix about the role. Evangeline describes Tauriel as a "bit reckless." She's a common elf and not royalty and Evangeline embraced this in the role. She says she was very lost when they were shooting the complex river scene which turned out to be amazing.
